The pictures below show the station as it was, is now and the 4mm scale model.

When the photographs where taken of it  'as it is now' in 2012, it was occupied by Peter Grimer who owned a transport businesss. Since then, in 2013 the station yard including the station building was sold for development.. As the building is not a listed building it is feared it may be demolished, despite the new owners assurance it will be saved.

 

Howard Leader made the superbly detailed and accurate model, taking a great deal of effort to take measurements and record details of the building. The model now has pride of place on the layout and is admired by all who view it.
